1 packet PVP Onion Soup & Dip Mix
2 - 15 oz cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
¼ cup olive oil, plus more for topping if desired
1/3 cup water
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, about 1 lemon
2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- Add all ingredients to a food processor.
- Blend mixture, scraping down sides of bowl a few times, until smooth, about 4 minutes. Pour into serving dish.
- Optional…drizzle with a little olive oil. Top with toasted pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, sliced green onions or chives.
